Title: United States. National War College. Course 3, Syllabus - Topic 10: Visit with the Executive Branch

TOPIC 10: VISIT WITH THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH
Students will meet with members of the Executive Branch to discuss the interagency process, using the Critical Infrastructure Coordinating Group (CICG) as an example of a current, evolving policy making structure.
Students should evaluate the sequence of events, by which certain national security issues caused the President to convene a Presidential Task Force, which in turn led to the signing of PDD 63, and the creation of the CICG.
Students should measure the effectiveness of the policy making structure currently in place for infrastructure protection.
